John Ritter is Chief Operating Officer of DiscoverReady LLC. Ritter is responsible for leading the overall strategic design and execution of DiscoverReady’s operations and serving as the firm’s senior liaison to clients in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining DiscoverReady, John was a Senior Vice President in Bank of America’s Enterprise Information Management Division managing the Global Information Access team. In this role, John managed a global team of more than 300 employees responsible for enterprise access operations and governance, information security incident management, cyber forensics and electronic discovery.
Prior to Bank of America, John spent time as both a lawyer and a police officer. As an attorney with Crowell & Moring in Washington, D.C., John’s practice focused on government contracts and energy; specifically in the areas of litigation and regulatory matters. John also worked as a police officer for the Arlington County Police Department where he was both a supervisor and the department’s spokesperson.
John earned his JD with high honors from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and his BA from the University of Maryland at College Park. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland bars.
