DiscoverReady professionals join our team for three fundamental reasons:
- Career Path
- Culture
- The Satisfaction of Being Part of a Team That’s Committed to “Doing It Right.”
They also value our approach to working with professionals who desire a flexible work schedule and to our progressive benefits package.
If you've had a bad experience working on Discovery Projects in the past - it's okay, you're not alone. In fact, that's why we formed DiscoverReady.
Career Paths
True discovery professionals are a rare and talented group who deserve better than a career made up of temporary or contract assignments. As the first national organization dedicated to Discovery Management, we are looking for the right people with a strong desire to make discovery their career focus.
How do you start? Where do you go? We’re a young company so career path opportunities within DiscoverReady will evolve over time as we grow. Today, we are looking for professionals with skills ranging from basic review qualifications up to attorneys with significant management experience who can serve as discovery consultants. In between, we have needs for team leaders, trainers, technologists and project managers. If you don’t have these skills but are a great study and want to learn, then DiscoverReady can be the place for you to develop over time—from an introductory review position all the way to a marketplace leader.
Culture
We know that managing and completing discovery projects is difficult. So we’ve worked hard to create a culture and workplace that balances the need for a serious business approach (essential to completing projects and delivering the highest level of quality and service) with a complementary sense of collegiality and levity that, together, enable us to work successfully as a team under the most challenging of circumstances.
Above all, we’re committed to creating a professional environment—valuing the accomplishments of our team and respecting the individual needs, talents and contributions of our team members—and to conducting business in a way—the right way—that makes our colleagues proud to be a part of our team.
Commitment to Doing Things Right
If you’ve have had the experience in the past of working on discovery projects in a way that was wasteful, illogical or not respectful of the contributions of individual team members, we have an important message for you: It’s okay, you’re not alone. In fact, that’s why we formed DiscoverReady.
DiscoverReady is about managing the discovery process the right way—over-investing in planning, training and project communication, leveraging reliable technologies, balancing production workflow, and valuing the input of team members.
Lastly, doing things right isn’t just about discovery. It’s about an overall approach to doing business that creates goodwill and loyalty among our customers and strategic partners, creates a positive and professional environment for our colleagues, and creates value for our enterprise.
Are You Ready?
We believe we have developed a great place for our colleagues to work and pursue careers, and we look forward to building a business foundation that will enable us to bring on more and more professionals in full-time roles.
As you consider joining our organization, you should ask yourself a few basic questions. Are you the sort of person who places a high value on service and value? On quality and consistency? On the importance of being part of a team? And above all, is it important to you to be part of an organization committed to “doing it right”? If the answer to these questions is “yes,” then we believe there’s no better place to pursue your career than as a DiscoverReady professional.
